WinZip Version 10:

With the advent of many ZIP archive establishing utilities, WinZip still holds its place as the king at creating ZIP archives. The version 10 of WinZip contains quite useful features such as AES 128- and 256-bit encryption for stronger security, better compression ratios by an improved compression algorithm, eliminated size constraints on ZIP archives by the use of new technologies, complete backups through span-disk capability, a user-friendly zipping wizard, ability to plunge whole programs into one self-extracting archive, conversion of even very large ZIP files into convenient sizes for easier e-mailing through the split archive function, and integration with virus-protection software. In spite of the above mentioned great features, WinZip lacks the support for RAR, ISO, and ACE archives.

BitComet 0.68:

This is a free peer to peer application that finds and downloads files using a unique system. Once it is run, it shows the three-pane interface, on the left side of which files can be chosen to download from a long list of web pages. Each website contains different files from each other with the exceptions of some. A smaller file is to be opened in BitComet after being appeared on desktop on the selection for downloading. Then, the application collects the users that possess the needed file after a bit of wait and start group downloading process which progressively cultivates in sources and speed. Although there is a huge collection of files available to download, but there are not enough ways to find particular files. A preview function offers a bit of help in this regard. The BitComet client includes features such as chat capabilities, stats trackers, and the ability to bookmark favorite sites.
